Developing Sites For Everyone

Friday, May 21, 2010

Every web site has different requirements. From the underlying code to the overall design, all the intricate workings of a web site are deserving of consideration for what is used and how they are implemented. For some, all that is needed are a set of static pages containing basic concepts of a service provider. For others, fancy graphics and animation are of utmost importance.

DynaWerx Is Now Harness Technology

Friday, April 30, 2010

We've changed our name! Why? Well, to be honest, DynaWerx is a bit of an odd name. It was derived from the words "dynamic" and "works" (as in: "works of art" or "inner works"). But I had to get creative with the spelling in order to obtain a domain name for it. This seems to have been a really bad idea.

Offering Our Services To The Community

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

Even though web design services can be provided to anyone anywhere in the world, we want to be a name that is recognizable to local charitable, non-profit organizations. We love Dallas and the surrounding areas in the Willamette Valley and would be honored to provide pro-bono services to local organizations in need.

Social Networking and Harness Tech

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Would you like to be our friend? Whether or not you are a Harness Technology client, we'd love it if you'd keep in touch with us. Fortunately, you don't have to worry about us spamming you or anything like that. We don't really post too often to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yelp or even our own blog. We post just enough to be interesting and not just to keep search engines happy.

Windows 7: Microsoft Finally Did It Right

Friday, October 16, 2009

For anyone who was dismally disappointed with Windows Vista, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Windows 7 has come to not only replace Vista, but to blow you away as well. If you stayed with XP because of all the bad stories you heard about Vista with the intent to skip Vista altogether, you will be patting yourself on the back.

Introducing Microsoft Security Essentials

Saturday, October 03, 2009

After testing and thoroughly researching Microsoft’s new Security Essentials software, I have decided to embrace it. It’s not every day that you can break into my little bubble and get me to change the software I use. That just shows you the level of trust and security I am feeling with MSE.

West Coast Bank Never Took Ethics 101

Friday, September 11, 2009

Since June 25, 2009, I have been literally fighting with my own bank regarding the theft of my identity. On that day, I received a letter from West Coast Bank stating that my account was overdrawn. I immediately checked my account online and sure enough, it was true. But it wasn’t because of my carelessness, it was because someone had stolen my debit card number and was running up charges. I had always felt pretty safe with online transactions, using the argument that the odds of it happening to me were pretty slim.

Yes, I Roast My Own Coffee

Saturday, March 28, 2009

When discussing coffee amongst common folk (LOL), any mention of roasting coffee seems to get lost. What I mean is, people seem to hear "grind" instead of "roast". Seems like everybody grinds their own coffee these days, so maybe it has something to do with that.
